The history of our company covers over half a century and goes back
to 1945, the year in which an association of companies called Mostostal was set up. In 1991, following the privatization of Gdańsk Steel Structures and In- dustrial Installations Company "Mostostal" MOSTOSTAL GDAŃSK SA (the Share Capital Company) was established. The company's shares are available to the public and are listed at Warsaw Stock Exchange. MOSTOSTAL GDAŃSK SA serves primarily big industrial enter- prises,creating and recreating their production capacity. The Company spe- cializes in the construction and assembly of industrial structures in ports, ship- yards, oil refineries, for chemical and pulp and paper industry as well as in the assembly of commercial, sports, telecommunication and infrastructure projects. Many years of experience, skilled staff and perfectly organized system of work give us the possibility of covering all aspects of services. Our offer comprises designing, manufacture and assembly of structures, installations assembly, consulting services and execution of turnkey projects. |

from the above MOSTOSTAL
GDAŃSK SA
specializes in the manufacture of large size steel structures in- cluding parts of ships, components of drilling rigs, steel tanks, gas flue ducts etc. which are assembled in Polish ports and transported by sea. The Company manufactures approximately 6,000 T and assembles about 16,000 T of steel structures and indust- rial systems per annum and it thus gives employment to 1,300 people on average. The Company's yearly turnover amounts to over 100,000,000.00 PLN (approx. 35 million USD). Exports constitute approx. 25% of the whole production. |

MOSTOSTAL
GDAŃSK SA possesses four independent assembly
units -
in Gdańsk, in Szczecin, Toruń and Płock as well as two steel structure manufacture shops in Gdańsk with the area of 14,000 square metres. The organization structure of the Company enables undertaking any projects characterized by high complexity and big scale. All technical and organizational cha- llenges that our customers face are solved and good performance takes place thanks to the existence of our modern workshops, our experience and the functioning of our Company according to the Quality Assurance System of ISO 9001. We have received excellent references from companies representing those segments of industry for which we have provided our services such as petrochemical and oil refining, marine, pulp and paper industries. The references give evidence of our quality and technical ingenuity. All those enterprises which take advantage of our designing and consulting services, crane and transport facilities and welding services including postweld heat treatment have always been satisfied with our activity. We have been performing sophisticated tasks not only in Poland but also abroad, in countries such as Algeria, Russia, Libya, RSA and in Germany. |
