Supervisory Board

According to the Company’s Articles of Association the Supervisory Board comprises 7 persons including:

the president, the vice-president and five members.

The Board’s term lasts for three years. The Supervisory Board of Mostostal Gdańsk SA comprises 7 persons:

       3. Jacek Piętka – the Secretary of the Supervisory Board. Technical degree, graduated from Technical University of Gdańsk. Employed             in           state-owned company Mostostal in Gdańsk since 1969 at various posts, from supervisor to the Quality Control Division manager at present. Since 1991 the vice president of Sopot Tennis Club. A Member of the Supervisory Board of MG Mazowsze S.A. in Płock.

        6.  Andrzej Buczkowski – a Member of the Supervisory Borad. Technical degree, graduate of Technical University in Gdańsk

         7. Andrzej Dymski – a Member of the Supervisory Board. Technical degree, graduate of Technical University in Gdańsk, the Department of     Civil Engineering 

• 1986-1997 – an employee of Mostostal Gdańsk S.A., various posts from Site Engineer to Deputy Manager in the Production Procurement in WZB-1 in Toruń

• 1991 a Member of the Supervisory Board of Mostostal Gdańsk S.A.

• 1993-1995 the Vice-President of the Supervisory Board of Mostostal Gdańsk S.A.

• 1997-1998 the Production Director in Pack Druk Poligrafia in Toruń

• since 1997 the President of the Managing Board of Melpol S.A. in Toruń

• since 1999 a Member of the Supervisory Board of MG Pomorze S.A. in Gdańsk, MG Wisła S.A. in Toruń, MG Mazowsze S.A. in Płock   

Managing Board

According to § 32 of the Company’s Articles of Association the Managing Board comprises 2 to 5 persons. Currently the Managing Board comprises 4 persons including: the president, the vice-president and two members.

Members of the Managing Board are appointed and dismissed by the Supervisory Board. Two members of the Managing Board are commonly authorised to give statements of will on behalf of the Company. The Managing Board have not granted any person the right of proxy.

The Managing Board of Mostostal Gdańsk SA currently consists of 4 persons:

Lech Walczak – the President of the Managing Board, Director 

Jacek Faron – the Vice-President of the Managing Board, Marketing Director 

Krystyna Nowakowska – a Member of the Managing Board, Financial Director 

Mariusz Kurkowski – a Member of the Managing Board, Production Director 

Lech Walczak – the President of the Managing Board. Degree in Economics, graduated from Szkoła Główna Planowania i Statystyki (Main School of Planning and Statistics) in Warsaw. Employed in Mostostal Gdańsk since 1982 at various economic posts from an economic specialist to deputy economic director. Since 1990, following the qualification competition, nominated the Director of a state-owned enterprise Mostostal Gdańsk. Since 1991 the President of the Managing Board of Mostostal Gdańsk SA.

Jacek Faron – the Vice-President of the Managing Board, Marketing Director. Technical degree, graduated from Śląsk Technical University in Gliwice. Professional work initiated in 1972 as a constructor in Elmor, then employed in Gdańsk Refinery, Navimor, a Dutch company called Interbeton, from 1994 to 1995 the President of American Polish Homebuilding Institute in Warsaw, from 1995 to 1996 the President of Zarząd Towarzystwa Ubezpieczeń i Reasekuracji STU SA (STU SA Insurance and Reinsurance Association) in Warsaw, since October 07, 1996 a member of the Managing Board, Marketing Director. Since June 1999 the Vice-President of the Managing Board as Marketing Director.

Krystyna Nowakowska – a member of the Managing Board, Financial Director. Degree in Economics, University of Gdańsk graduate. Employed in state-owned company Mostostal in Gdańsk since 1973, previously employed in Gdańsk Province Shoe Trade Enterprise and in Centromor. Employed in Mostostal as a supervisor, specialist, section manager and since 1990 deputy economical director. Since 1991 a member of the Managing Board of Mostostal Gdańsk SA as the Economical and Financial Director.

Mariusz Tadeusz Kurkowski – a Member of the Managing Board, Production Director. Technical degree, graduated from Gdańsk Technical University. Employed in state-owned enterprise of Mostostal in Gdańsk since 1985 as site engineer, deputy site manager, designer, site manager, main exports specialist, deputy technical manager in WZB1 (currently MG Pomorze S.A.) and General Contracting Office Director. Since 1991 the Vice-President of the Supervisory Board of Mostostal Gdańsk S.A. and then, since 1995 to 1997 the Secretary of the Supervisory Board. Since June 1999 a Member of the Managing Board of Mostostal Gdańsk S.A. as the Production Director.
